The Book Is Launched And Already Traveling the World...

I hope 2026 has started off well for you.

I’m so happy to finally share some wonderful news with you: my book, Become the Parent You Needed: Heal Yourself to Raise Emotionally Healthy Children, has officially launched and has quickly become quite the globe-trotter.

What has been especially moving over the past two weeks is seeing the book begin to appear in bookstores and online retailers across many different countries, inlcuding: most US states, Australia, Thailand, Singapre, Japan, Germany, Switzeland, Denmark, Sweden and many more.... how surreal is that!!?

Watching it travel beyond my endless hours of writing, and into readers’ hands is something I will never take for granted.

Writing this book was deeply personal- a labour of love that I worked tirelessly on for 5 years. It grew not only from psychological education and resources, but from my own journey as a mother, counsellor, and someone who believes strongly that when we heal ourselves, we change what we pass on to the next generation. My hope has always been that the book would reach people who are ready to break patterns, understand themselves more deeply, and create healthier emotional foundations for their families.

This summer I will embark on a US signing tour as it is in so many exciting locations. So far, the book has been sighted in major New York stores, Austin, Tempe, Miami, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Utah, Nashville, and Atlanta. Seeing it surface in different parts of the world is incredibly humbling.

Each listing, each order, and each reader represents the possibility that someone, somewhere, might feel less alone in their journey as a parent or as a human being trying to heal from the past.

This book is ultimately about hope- the hope that our childhood experiences do not have to define our future, and that by becoming more conscious, compassionate, and self-aware, we can give our children something many of us did not receive: emotional safety and understanding.
